Since BoA was denying gun and ammo purchases, I used mine to spend a few hundred in donations to NRA-ILA, SAF, and GoA. I figured it would be a way for BoA to help me support what's important to me.

I was already a NRA life member. The NRA funds don't help with the legal fees they incur. Right now, the NRA-ILA can use everything we can afford to donate.

But, I am glad to see all the new NRA members and renewals as numbers are important too.

I signed up for my NRA membership like 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting to receive my stuff in the mail...come to think of it...I've been waiting over 2 weeks now too for the local CLEO to sign off on my form 4's.

Ugh...I hate waiting!!!!!

Well I guess I finally caved in. I got the bug for a take down 10/22 so I bought one off gunbroker and paid a bit more than I should have.
Other than this I feel pretty good about avoiding all the crazies.

I think banning guns will be hard to do - lots of government officials like guns, even a lot of the dems and liberals.

I think the magazines is where the battle will be fought and lost by the pro gun world.

Therefore, I have bought nothing but mags. Even for weapons that I don't have but know that I want in the future.

I picked up another Aero Precision stripped lower for $100 when it all started to assure I would have one for each of my boys.

Bought CMMG parts kits for each as I wanted them functional, paid $60 for each, but they were getting hard to find.

Wish I would've been able to get a couple ammo cans of 2100 Fed Champion 22 when Cabelas had them on sale for $99.

Finally got a call from the Sheriff's office a few minutes ago saying my Form 4's have got the CLEO sign off..now it's off to the bank to get a check and then it's time to head to the post office!
