Purchased 1000 rounds of 9mm at sightly more than it was going for last summer. Placed a back order for PMags and placed an order for an AR. Time will tell whether they arrive before new laws are in effect. Trying to not overreact but it ain't easy.

Haven't purchased anything since the panic but 2 items that I would like is a 25 or 30 round magazines for the 10/22 and an stripped AR lower. I was planning on purchasing both items for the last couple years but just never got around to it. Maybe one of these days they will be in stock again. Serves me right for not buying when I had a chance.
I am right there with you. I planned on buying an upper tier AR this spring. No real reason I was delaying and now they are way out of my price range.

I know a lot of people believe this will all pass and no new laws will start, but I can easily see a hi-cap mag ban coming. I remember 1994 and it sucked. Mags might be expensive now, but just wait until they are banned.

pushed up a purchase of a XDm40 compact. wanted a smaller ccw gun, but was on a down the road buy list. figured, this would be a good compromise between CCW size need and with the large mag it's a "hi-cap get-it-while-you-can" panic buy.

    So, it's a two-fer

Well I was able to get some ak mags right after the shooting, ordered some pmags to but they apparently neglected to fill the order"dpms' website. Then I sold a few mags at a rather large profit 15 days later and got 4 g17 mags traded a 33rd for 2 17rd and bought 2, a s&w m&p 9c with 4 mags, 3 17rd and 1 12 for 400 bucks... Sweet deal.

Only thing I over paid for, and not by much was a shotgun, 870.
Ammo purchased all early at normal prices:
    1k of 7.62x39
    200(?) rds of 7.62x38r
    880 rds of 7.62x54
    400(?) of .45
I did buy a few boxes of zombie ammo for the handguns. I don't think I paid inflated prices but I sure felt like I did! I'm used to surplus and WWB ammo! ;)
    I picked up a G21 mag for 15$
One fancy-dancy 10/22 mag for 40$ (had a gift card to big r, made sense at time)
Bought some bulk .22, didn't really need to, it was just for good measure.
Couple of boxes of 00 buck for the new 870
Couple "tactical" er.... Maybe "assault" flashlights. Side note, "solarforce" flashlights (surefire copy's, straight from Hong Kong) are pretty darn nice... Not as nice as my surefires, but very nice!
As I'm typing this I'm remembering "justifying" things while looking at them in the store.
I hope 5.56 comes down someday.....
    Happy buying!

I purchased a Berretta M9, that came with 9 magazines for a fantastic price. I have a AK-47 on order that i am afraid that it won't make it here in time before everything gets banned.

Yesterday I went ahead and started the paperwork for my suppressor. I decided to get an AAC Eco 9 over the Huntertown Arms Guardian 9. The price was lowered to 399 before taxes so it was only $50 more then the Guardian. I am eager to complete my forms to mail out to the ATF. Summer time couldn't get here fast enough. :ar15:

Nothing. I guess the Boy Scout motto saved me a bunch of money!

I'll be reloading my 1000's of rounds of spent brass, with pre-bought components, while everyone panic buys. ...and feel pretty good about it.
