i'll take garage damage for a thousand alex!

i'll wave as we pass you heading east, going to Milford in a few minutes.
Made it home AND into the garage . . . by the hair on my chinny chin chin!

Melensdad, Check the roof before you pull into the garage...

    roofs are expensive....
Nah, I let the wife get out and check the roof before I pulled it :rockwoot:

Heading over to the hangout in 30 minutes
I'd love to go and meet up, but I've got too much unloading and inventorying of the contents of the car to do before I can get the heck out of here.

Any recommendations on a mid range red dot for a AR ? Can't really afford $500 was really looking to try and stay around $250 or less .

The Vortex Strikefire is nice and under $200. Check out AA optics here on the forum. Alan will help you out.

The primary arms are less than the Vortex, BUT they never seem to be in stock. I have one of each. if you are coming to the meet next week, you can check them out.

So want that $499 American Tactical STG 44 22lr that Blythe's has but I need to be strong and not go to the LIGHT SIDE. Saving my money for a .308 and am 60% there now.

D**** you Sadclown for putting that offer out there.

I am also tempted by this. It would have to come out of my AR fund though, which would really limit what I could get.

And Dan, that lady that won at bingo only spending a little money..... she probably played for weeks, spending money the whole time.

They don't just give you money for nothing.
A guy at my American Legion Post won some money at one of our pull tab machines. I was happy for him. That confused him, since I'm the finance officer, and always grumbling about the Post needing to get more money.
I told him he'd spend the money at the Post, we didn't lose it.
I know the percentage on the game on the machine, it's printed on the box the pull tabs come in.
I know the tax on every game we sell.
And I know the cost of the game supply (the game cost from the distributor).
And.... we don't lose on gaming.

The only way to win.... is to play, and win right away. Then STOP.

Well, I'm on a gun buying break.
For me it's paying off the credit card.
Then optics and back up sights for Black Betty.
Then I'd like a better optic for my Ruger m-77 .308.

For Black Betty, something like this (maybe)

I really like the IDEA of my Millet DMS-1. However, the zoom and lit reticle knobs are VERY hard to turn (as in, have to remove gun from shoulder to zoom). I am guessing it has to do with weather-proofing, so from that aspect good, but otherwise its quite annoying. I'd love to get my hands on one of those primary arms ones (it looks to be pretty much the exact same scope) to see if it addresses my concerns.

The PA is just a red dot. There is no magnification.

The Vortex I posted above is a 1-4 magnification.
