I have my granddaddy's single shot 12 gauge and grandmother's .22 bolt action from the other side of the family. Both are over 80 years old, guns that is. What's the oldest ones you have or inherited?

Mine would be a 1932 Mosin Nagant 91/30 Hex. My uncle has a Civil War musket that was used by our great-great (not sure how many "greats") uncle on both sides. He was captured and forced to fight for the other side (not sure which side he started on, but I'm going to be at a family reunion for lunch today so I'll ask around).

Got my grandfathers double barrel (exposed hammer) 12 gauge shotgun he bought new in 1903 or 1906, dad heard both and never was sure which one was right. It put a lot of meat on the table during WWI, the depression and WWII up in Wolcott IN. My dad gave it to me years ago before he died and I still shoot a clay pigeon or two with it occasionally. It will go to my son someday.

American gun company, nothing collectable about it, but it is the most valuable gun in my safe.
