Little Ceasar's is the White Castle of the pizza world. It's cheap and crappy, but sometimes it just sounds good.

My favorite is Union Jack's Pizza.

A good hotdog is hard to beat. Little Ceasers is not even in the running. I really hate their $5 hot and ready pie. The deep dish is palatable except for the heart burn.

My vote goes to Big Woods in Nashville. But I am biased because I know the owners.

Scampy's Annex in Anderson. The Ordinary in Wannamaker, Ale imporium in castleton.

Scampys get it with sausage piled high and triple ground.

The ordinary i get beer first, second and third then the pie comes out.

The Ale get the deep dish half baked and finish off at home. Like 2 inches thick.

Whenever I go to St Louis, I have to have an Imo's pizza. The prove cheese they use is awesome. Good sauce, and thin " cracker like" crust.

Hmm, no mention of Some Guys Pizza? Their wood over pizza are top notch. They're on Allisonville & 62nd. I've been eating their pies and pasta since the mid 80's.

The quote about depending on price, place and mood was right. Back at IU, when beer money won out over taste, PIZZA EXPRESS (Pizza DISTRESS) was always top choice - worlds best (affordable) cardboard and ketchup. Now days, if I am bringing some home for the family (2 LARGE sons included) we cant beat the Navy Club in New Haven. Hi-piled meats, veggies and cheese on a really good crust. If wife and I are going out for good food and beer, Cant beat 800 degree Pizza, wood fire ovens, cpispy/chewy crusts, awesome toppings and gooey cheese. Also a great selection of beers.

Fiesta Pizza in a little suburb of Philly. Used to live about 3 blocks away from it and I ordered from there constantly. Although I never understood why they were called Fiesta when all they served was pizza and cheesesteaks. In any case both the pizza and the cheesesteaks were stellar. If I ever go back out there for any reason I will be stopping by (assuming they are still in business).

Tomato Pie in Paragon. Can't miss it. It's the only thing in Paragon. Their bread sticks are amazing. Hey, Papa Roux likes them. :D

Aurelio's Pizza in Homewood Il. and Sanfratello's in Glenwood Il. and 3rd is Beggars Pizza in Lansing Il. All three have other locations in the region but the originals are the best.
