This is one scenario I don't worry about. I have zero power to do anything about it, and statistically it is very unlikely to happen in my lifetime.

    My empire of dirt
Speaking of bison running down the road, when I was there 5 years ago I missed my exit in the park and didn't notice till I was about 7 miles past it. It was already dark and as I came around one of the curves I was stopped in my tracks by a herd of bison coming my way on the road. I was driving a diesel p/u so I shut it down as not to spook them. Next thing I know there were hundreds of them coming down the hillsides to join the rest of the herd. That was the most intense, raw encounter I will probably ever encounter, at least in the lower 48. I hope I don't live to see Yellowstone destructed by that super volcano. If there is a God and he has a back yard Yellowstone is the place.

If what I have seen on the smart TV channels is true the lower 48 will be in orbit if that area pops its cork. Does no good to worry on it and you can not blame humanity or global warming.

You can't stop plate tectonics. Is Yellowstone gonna blow like Ke$ha, maybe. Tatanka love to run. Is a comet gonna hit Earth? Anything is possible. I say worry about what you can handle and take care of.

That probably went through their minds............right before the [STRIKE]chunks of flying molten lava[/STRIKE] pyroclastic flow did...... ;)

    Fixed for scientific accuracy:D

Ground hugging, 2000 degree, gasses moving at 450MPH are bad for your health.:(
