Not a single difference between Rs, Ds and Ls and Joe Bowman knows it.

Tactically, I am sure that is pretty much true. The machines are in place. I only hope to put enough body weight into one of them to start making at least one of the machines make a turn for the better...one of the machines that has a chance.

The D's tend to be fully supported by the Communist Party so, can't go there.

Well Mr. Horning, it seems that being part of the machine is your only hope for securing a win.

So, it seems you're going to have to figure out what is more important...winning an election or taking a stand for your principles.

Can you vote in the 8th district Kirk?

Of course he can't, but that won't stop him from advocating the "lesser of two evils theory" that predominates our political discussion.

Oh I'm CERTAIN I'll get more votes than that! I got nearly twice that percentage in 2012 when there was a lot less obvious disgust/lack of support for the other candidates.
I can't talk about the other candidates, but I would be happy to talk about what I'm all about.

I live in the 8th..... What do you have that the rest don't? [STRIKE] sale [/STRIKE]sell me.

“Never open the door to a lesser evil, for other and greater ones invariably slink in after it.”

Gracián had that figured out about 350 years ago.

Others may catch up... eventually...or maybe not.

Henry, and Hooky, y'all seem to be making sense. Do you have any questions for me?

By the way, other folks, I am most certainly NOT a "professional politician."
Far from making me any money at all, it costs me a lot. A lot.
Professionally, financially, time with family...it costs enough that, if you want to know something about me, I must tell you that I must be an idiot to keep throwing myself at a bunch of voters who say stuff they don't understand because they heard it from politicians they say they don't trust, and then elect them again in order for them to enact term limits or something.

Sheesh, people, do some math. Look at the 2012 election results again. Even if every single vote that came my way went to Mourdock instead (which would never have happened), he'd have still lost.

And if I could be the margin of victory against somebody...good! I am no part of your silly self deception game.
I'm still waiting for somebody to give me any good reason to ever vote for any D or R again, knowing who runs both of those parties...
Sheesh, people. You must really love politics.
I do not. I want it shrunk down as much as possible, and out of our lives as much as possible

I'm curious why some think it's hard to find a lot of information about me. I've got more on my website than the other candidates do...by far. And I've been writing for decades as a weekly columnist (Indianapolis Star), Adjunct Scholar/columnist for the Indiana Policy Review (22 newspapers around the state), I've had a blog site for years (wedeclare.wordpress.com), other campaign websites that are easy to find on archive sites...I'm not aware of any other Indiana candidate who's written as much in explanation of what I'm all about.
What's missing? What do you want to know (except odds, numerology and other of Kirk's mystical arts)?

You want to impress someone? Impress me. By adding a sight support badge under your name. If your going to hock your self here on the list the least you could to is support the site. Like some of us to. Is it necessary? Nope.

It's just a good thing to do. Best of luck Mr Horning. It looks like you have a challenge ahead of you.

Fair enough. But until last night, I've never even heard your name. I would think you would like to spread your words around instead of making people find you.

Just because you're not making a profit off this aspect of the political business does not mean you're not a professional. That's like saying my business failed therefore I'm not in business. You write for a policy review so apparently this gives you some street cred for something you do make money at.

Also, simply being insulting to anyone who raises a question, casting aspersions on their comprehension level and astuteness does nothing but show that you are a thin skinned and petty. From your responses I'd have to say that not only can you not answer the questions you don't even want to address them.
