    In the politics of yore the challenge was to speak to your base without alienating the rest. I guess that's no longer deemed necessary.

    She is just using the tactics taught by one of Her early Mentors.

    Rule # 5 "ridicule is a man,s most potent weapon"

    Her tactics are not random this is a well planned strategy. I believe Her comments are meant to cause outrage and frustration in order to create backlash that will prove Her point.
    Propaganda of "the deplorables" protesting or speaking out will soon follow.
