    Where did he get his info? That would be a very significant amount and indicative of wanting to avoid a trial, not just discovery.

    I assume that's an "eight figure" impact on their bottom line, not what they paid out.

    In other words, their stock went down due to the court of public opinion.

    If that is true (or anywhere close to that number), CNN was afraid of losing on the merits, publically.

    I want to see these "news" organizations bit*h slapped hard. Way worse than these guys want to see Patriots beaten. LOL

    Maybe they will at least learn a little fear for the truth...

    More suits are expected to be filed by March 9th against Gannett, ABC, CBS, New York Times, and Rolling Stone a local news station is reporting.

    They are reserving the right to file against additional potential defendants.

    All published statements that Sandman blocked or restricted Phillips movement.

    Court rules Nick Sandmann’s lawsuits against NYT, ABC, CBS, Rolling Stone can proceed

    [FONT=&quot]A federal court ruled Thursday that a multitude of lawsuits filed by Nicolas Sandmann against several media outlets can proceed.[/FONT]
    [FONT=&quot]U.S. District Judge William Bertelsman of the Eastern District of Kentucky denied motions to dismiss Sandmann’s cases against The New York Times, ABC, CBS, and Rolling Stone magazine, his lawyer, Lin Wood, announced online.
