To each their own but this thought process is dangerous.
Did he cut it up and dispose of it. Now that would be making a statement but nothing would change. Just like voting 3rd party.
Admittedly I did not read the thing. There has just been a mass of input of late

Edit, Ok he used a hammer. That’s crazy. To beat a tool into a worthless pile of pieces makes no sense. None.
Apparently, the irony is lost on the virtue signaler: the hammer (blunt instrument) is used to kill more people each year than the rifle he used to hammer to destroy.

I tried searching for information. I used just his name and got numerous hits on male anatomy.
    Further searching found this.
“I’m a gun advocate," he said. "I believe in the Second Amendment. But this AR, after what I saw in Uvalde, I’m done with it... I’m sick over it." He turned the gun over to local police.

I wonder if he will be giving up driving, considering the deaths associated with it.

i explain to a lot people that concept

my son was killed by a drunk driver over 30 yrs ago. i did not at anytime advocate for the removal of cars.

it was not the car's fault.

1st_ sorry to hear about your son :(

2nd_ When people have stated... "What would you say to the parents of a kid killed by a gun?", I have replied with something similar... "What would you say to the parents of a kid killed by a car?"
