So it looks like Dec 16th at noon is the winner..looks like a possibility of 9 of us at this point. Don't think we need to reserve the backroom for this one.

The problem with not reserving the back room is trying to seat a dozen or more in the same spot at noon on a Saturday. Might mention to the staff the advantage of not mingling reprobates with the respectable diners,......usually opens all doors to seclusion. Or closes all doors to public areas,......whatever.

And if that doesn't work you can always try the old standby,.....

Maybe, it's a 3 hr drive but I made the one two years ago on an inaugural trip with the adventure freedom van. Would like to explore the area more. I remember the architecture of the courthouse and other buildings. Last time we stopped at New Oberpfalz brewery afterwards and I see there are several other brewerys to choose from.

The wife is upset her Dad always cancels so watch this will be the one friggin time the dude shows up.
