No way, how do I know ahead of time what my highest price is? That knowledge only comes with that feeling you get when you see “time extended…”Wife n I do a lot of online auctions due to our business, word of advice. Make your highest bid, not a bid during the auction. Don’t get caught up in the heat of the moment. Then forget about it. If you win- you’ll know about it. If you win good for you, if you don’t, you didn’t want it for that price anyway. JMO.
Don’t know that I’d buy a gun at an auction, but spent a couple hundred thousand on equipment and trucks over the years on online auctions, almost always somewhere between ‘bargain’ and ‘fair’.
ETA; I can’t stand going to local live auctions like an old farm auction, unless there’s something there that I can’t live without. Online only for me.
