      Agree also, I shoot alot of ****ty steel case ammo in my 10.5" and 16" along with even in my handguns. People always critize me over it. My response is a barrel is less than $200, if it gets wore out I'll replace it with all that money I saved on ammo.

      New M&P 2.0 Compact series 3.6"

      My guess is they are going to also release a 12+1 or 10+1 something similar in a 3.6" I love the 4" barrel on my M2.0 Compact so I'll pass on this. Id say they are going to have a 4.25" line, a 4.0" line and a 3.6" line. Although I'm not willing to put money on it.

      Yeah the orginal 17 round mags will not lock the slide back. Not an issue for me but could be for some. The updated 2.0 slide lock has been reengineer to prevent the dumb auto forward. Great trade off in my opinion but they also changed the mag followers and it prevents previous generation...

      I’d say M2.0 Compact in 9mm or a CZ P07. Price is there, reliability is there and a great size for edc and home defense.
