I've seen several LGS close in the last 5 years, or stop selling guns.
One of the guys at the sporting goods place in Vernon told me they quit selling guns because it just wasn't worth the government ******** hassle.
I'm sure it has something to do with what Guy Relford has been talking about...
I have spent THOUSANDS at PSA through the years.
Never had a problem.
Sometimes you have to wait abit, but I don't have a "I want it now" mentality.
The problem with local gunshops is location.
When I lived in Indy, I bought most of my stuff locally.
Now I live 30 mins from the nearest LGS...
Curious that you chose to not include "recently" in your quote of my text.
They innovated and changed the world several times, and as I said, they deserve more credit than most manufacturers for that.
But they have not innovated in decades.
They make the same stuff over and over, and that's...
We are our own worst enemy...
It amazes me how basically EVERY "gun-totin, 2A supportin, big government-hatin patriot" ****ing prides themselves on volunteering to help that government spread it's tyranny around the world, but won't do a ****ing thing to defend the liberty of this country and...
I got a real coincidence for you.
Government legislation continues to fail to stop mass shooters from being able to obtain guns, while doing nothing but restricting law-abiding citizens.
Government legislation prevents legal firearms in schools, while doing nothing to prevent criminals from...
I guess I will be the libertarian here and remind everyone that so many of these politicians have violated the constitution with such regularity that they are beyond "high crimes and misdemeanors" and more closely resemble traitors that should be hanged.
We are weak.
We continue to wait for...
First off, the "best carry gun" is the one you shoot best.
Second, the P365 was not a game changer.
That was the KelTec P11.
Look up the specs, they are absolutely identical, and KelTec did it a good decade before Sig, Sig just gave it a better trigger and sights.
I mean, most modern well known handguns are pretty good.
Glock isn't magic anymore.
Glock was awesome 30 years ago, but so many have copied and even improved on their "perfection".
I carry a glock most of the time so I am not being rude to Glock, they still deserve alot of credit for their...
Why does the buyer need to be punished?
He bought a gun online, and the website showed this guy as an FFL.
What did he do wrong?
People are so rude nowadays.
Guns and tackle in greensburg is putting feelers out, to see if there's an interest in them providing training. If your interested, or know someone who might be. Please fill out the form in the link here. Thanks for your time...
I love PSA, but they inflate their shipping for that deal. I bought 1000rnds from them a couple years back, and shipping was either 8 or 18 bucks, I dont remember. Its 33$ now. Not a deal breaker, just bear in mind, after shipping, the total for me was 413. That's about .30 a round, and...
Yea I noticed I don't really smash my face into the savage to make the center of the eyepiece line up, I guess I was shooting for comfort instead of low bore axis. I fully admit I overthink pretty much everything.
I do not get down as low as I do on the AR with the savage having the scope as...
So? Does the barrel in an AR not point perfectly level? I'm just trying to wrap my head around the idea of high rings making the bottom most point of the scope sit 27/32" from the top of the hog hunters barrel being a problem, but its a good idea for the high rings making the bottom most point...
I guess I figured if an AR upper had been built with a flat top receiver that it would not be setup for optics at the same height as those that were made with the integrated carry handle 30 years ago..lol
Its so much easier just lining up the old iron sights. Lol
