      Loaded handgun at gunshop

Employees at gun shops/sporting goods stores should check the gun before handing it to the customer as well when the customer hands it back. There have been instances of customers putting live rounds into the gun while the employee wasn't looking and the employee put it back into the case.

Yeager talks a little about Ingo.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5za7N-V6l8 This is pretty cool.He definitely knows his stuff, even if he is opinionated sometimes.

      Seriously 8,000 Bucks

I think that it was $1200 for the guns and $6800 for the engraving that the customer didn't even ask for.

Found some old ammo, is it safe?

I had some .22 rounds that were at least 35 years old and didn't have a bit of trouble out of them. They were stored in my parents garage in a cardboard box. I think that since yours were in a pail you should be safe. My question is why in the world were you looking in pails for plywood?

      Newbie reloading help

That is exactly what happened. I'm not sure what it was for though. It's the 2nd problem that I have had with rcbs dies though. The last one was the depriming rod was bent just a little bit. When I took it back the guy that works at the Outdoorsman said that someone else had the same problem...

      Newbie reloading help

Thanks for all of the input. It led me down the correct path and now I know what it was. For some reason the sizer die was not correct. I replaced it with one that was the correct measurement and now it works great. It was off just enough that it worked on some cases but not others. I could have...

      Newbie reloading help

I am having trouble with reloading my 9mm ammo. About 1/3 of it isn't right. If you pinch the bullet and casing together the bullet goes down into the casing. There are several different makers of the brass. I'm using RCBS dies and a Hornady progressive reloader.I called RCBS today and they said...

      Indy Trading Post

I went to the range at the Indy Trading Post today and tried to have a good time. My ammo decided not to cooperate though. I had round go into battery and wouldn't fire when the trigger was pulled and the slide was locked closed WITH a live round. I was the only one on the range and wasn't...

Question: Why Would You Carry At Church??

It sounds like my church must be the odd man out. About 1/3 of us carry on a regular basis. The church where the pastor was killed is a church that has a great community outreach program. It looks like this drew in some of the "messy" stuff that someone else posted about. In the end though I...

      Beech grove firearms

The only problem with BGF is the time that you spend in there. Every time I go in there it's at least an hour before I leave. I think that it's great that the older guys in there share their stories with you all while showing you any gun that they have without making you feel like a nuisance.

      Thoughts on 9mm Shield???

I've put right at 800 rounds through mine. FMJ and hollow points feed through with no problems. It has replaced my M&P pro as my E.D.C.

      223 primer problems

Thanks for the offer. That looks like a great tool that I may need to pick up soon. I have the Lyman case prep express that should get me through until I find the Dillon 600.

      Bradis

Jeff was the guy that we dealt with at Bradis2 and he was the guy that went out of his way to help us. We were told that Mike was the manager so I didn't see any reason to call and complain to him about him. If he is not the manager then it changes everything. Like I said we did receive a call...
