Yeah, I am leaning that direction...Was just curious if anybody had a previously neglected gun that I would not need to worry about while it bounces around in the truck. If I get a pretty new one it may not be cared for in the same way if ya know what I mean.
I'm just looking for a cheap basic wheel gun for the console of the truck. Rusty and ugly is fine, but its gotta work. I would like a 38 or larger.

I agree with the OP. Keep it holstered, even at a gun shop unless you absolutely need to get help with an accessory or component that they sell. If I worked a counter at the farm store I would have no problem telling you to holster it or leave.
Ummm...if they go out them it's due to **** poor management. Sorry but if you sell your inventory for the entire year you still made the same amount of cash. And some dealers raised prices and made a killer year.
