      Another AR newbie build suggestions

      I'm running the JP Enterprises JPSCS2-15 Silent Captured Spring I love it, I've only put a few 100 rds down it. My brother in law was the one who introduced me to it. He's ran a few 1000 with it. Depending on your set up there might be a little fine tuning but I love it.

      Cannon gun safes?

      I have the 64 gun safe from TC, I also found the shelves to be a little on the weak side. I just got some blocks of wood and braced them on the gun divider in the middle of the safe. I also installed some LED lights in mine so i could see a little better. All in all for the money I am happy with...

      Body Cameras: Who Uses One as a Civilian?

      I think thats a great idea for any that interacts with people daily. A picture is worth a 1000 words but video is so much better.

      RV cabinets

      We just got an RV this summer and had issues right off the bat with it. We had a water leak, where road spray would make its way into the living area and then run down the floor. All the "wood" in the RV is that pressed and glued sawdust crap! I'd avoid that stuff and use OSB or something. I...

      What is your EDC knife?

      On this one the only mounting hole from the clip are on the same end as the point of the blade. I'm just very careful when I need it.

      I saw that the other day, so what keeps it from spinning around on that rod while you are driving? It would drive me crazy for it to tap my leg every time i go around a round-about

      Sig does make air guns that are (from what i hear) about as close to the real gun as you can get. So if you had a sig p226, you could get the airgun p226 and at least get the muscle memory going. And save a ton over a 22lr kit.

      Magazine management?

      On the way to the range I use ammo cans, and keep each mag with its ammo. At home I dump all the mags into an ammo can and store that in the safe.

      Johnson safe

      One of my friends just bought one of his safes, but i don't think he is getting it till mid march or so. Not totally sure on that but i think he's a little backlogged now. But from what i hear you can't find a better safe for the money.

      Ruger LCP - DON'T PAY RETAIL

      I have a sticky for my PPK. it works ok, but i don't use it as a pocket holster. I use it as an iwb. Its just way to big for any pockets i have. It works ok as an iwb, but once you draw its hard to put it back in the holster. Also if you ever have to undo your belt, there isn't anything hold it...

      I was just thinking about this the other day at work but didn't get a chance to hop on and ask the question. But leaning forward is a good point. I carry at about the 4 o'clock and my wallet is in my right rear pocket. If the "bad guy" wants my wallet I'm going to have to lean forward to reach...
