All my life I wanted a lever action 22. I had thought I would end up with a Marlin 39 till I handled the Browning BL22. The difference was unbelievable. Nothing like, nothing close.
The action is half the draw of either a Marlin or Henry. I put a scope using high mounts so I could still use the iron sites. It is a nail driver, even with my 61 year old eyes. I absolutely love this weapon. Another real beautiful thing about is it chambers short, long and long rifle rounds. It also cycles the hummingbird powderless rounds: great for back yard vamits in an urban environment.
