      Scope Comparison

      Alan, got it in the mail today. Thanks for the quick turn around. Havent mounted/shot it yet but i am impressed. I got the Crossfire II 4-12x50 mentioned in this thread. Glass is large and clear. Looks like it will do the job. I didnt even realize it came with a sunshade. Bonus!

      New Long Range Caliber?

      The first rifle I ever shot was that of 243. If i ever get a new bolt action it will be in 243. I think this is an all around great round and if nothing else readily available. During the most recent ammo craze, 243 was consistently on the shelves when nothing else was. I like that.
