I am very happy with my .308 PTR. The trigger is far superior to the one on my former SAR 3. I did have feeding issues in the beginning. Sent it back to PTR for rapid and free replacement of a weak ejector spring. Not all the furniture matched in the beginning. Bought an OD fore end from HK...
I bought the 32 round magazines with steel lips manufactured by Manticore. As I load 20 rounds, the spring starts to fold over on itself. I can load 32 but it concerns me. Has anyone had trouble with these magazines.
I really like my CZ Shadow 2. At nearly 3 pounds, it is a very soft shooter. It really made me a better shooter but the gun is still better than me. Also, I really like my Dan Wesson 1911 Valor in 9mm. Probably the best trigger . Bought Wilson Combat magazines. These two guns are the favorites...

We had a 200 gun collection / gun store in half of the 2 car...

Clearly, you are not one of them. Thanks, PAT458
I grew up at 35th and Emerson in the '50's. Walked 2 blocks to School 71 for 8 years and rode the bus to Arlington in the "60's. My dad was a gun dealer in the '50's and '60's working out of half of a 2 car-garage. He was in France and Germany in WW2. Started his collection by mailing Mausers...
