      My first attempt at an antler mount

      Looks very nice, I dont have the patience for that so I let a friend of mine do one. Its nice to have a firend that does this but the self satifaction of doing it yourself would be bery gratifying.

      I thought you had to update upon moving. This is a serious thing dont want anyone to get in trouble and this would be one way to get into trouble.

      Smallest caliber you would use for a defensive handgun?

      There are 2 different guns I think are the minimum to carry. The 380 is a great belly gun or really close range, but the 9 is the lowest I would go. Me personnaly I like my 45 thats the smallest I will carry just because in the Army I liked it and saw what it could do.

      Very good year even tho I only bought 2 guns but they are just what I wanted. One was for my wife and the other for me now we both have guns we like to carry.

      What to get for CCW...

      I carry a Taurus PT 745 just because Im very particular to the 45 cal. The wife carries a Ruger LCP she seems to love the size of that gun and me also with a pocket holster.

      Nice photo wish while I was there I would have seen one. I have seen alot of wildlife during my time in the military but never an owl.

      Everyone makes mistakes but this is a big one... The resturant or any place can ask you not to come back especially if they think that this is unsafe and it will bother other patrons.

      I agree I hunt in Fulton county and see coyotes all the time. Must be an off year for different parts of the state, I hope this isn't the trend.

      Since we all have been hunting this year we haven't seen as many deer as in years past. We have seen more Bucks but not as many Does any body else seem to see this!

      Highpower rifles for hunting in Indiana

      High power rifles will someday be legal in Indiana, but it will have to go through its paces. I think the next part of the equation will be making the 30-30 legal just because its more of a brush gun and works just as well.

      Your New Bow for 2012 Show and Tell

      Well with all the new laws and all I am still kinda torn about bows. Since its legal now to use crossbows all the time its cheaper and easier to use one. Alot of Michigan hunters are going to crossbows just because its so much cheaper.

      Now that hunting season is over I cant wait to start shooting at 3d ranges when the weather breaks. This is the slowest time of year for a hunter with not that much to hunt..

      getting back into archery

      I dont think it matters what kind of bow you use. I bought a used bow 5 years ago and it kills deer and works great on 3d ranges. It may not be the fastest bow but havent had a arrow not go through a deer and its a jennings.
