      GQ: "Guns 'R Us"

The patter of thirty-two bullets lasted maybe three seconds, and then the eyeball was gone. The release felt like one gorgeous, fantastic sneeze, and the satisfaction reminded me of cold beer. The last 2 lines were my favorite. Does this mean she's a convert?

how much is too much ?

When I heard that number I started thinking "how much ammo do I have on hand?" Oops I'd be on their list as well and I don't have nearly the stash I'd like to have. Bottom line is someone who has never been around guns and raised in the anti-gun environment that most of the media has been raised...

Could an LTCH holder have done anything to lessen the damage caused in Colorado?

In one report a woman said he walked right past her. Imagine if she had a gun..... point blank range.... The way they said he walked through the theater he was not expecting resistance, this was a power trip to him. He wanted to play the part of the "Joker" and relive a scene from the comic...

How do you feel about being fingerprinted?

That ship sailed years ago. US Navy took mine in 1980 for my clearance (Navy Nuke). Power plant in 86, LTCH and UT out of state, not to mention TSA for CDL HazMat. What really twists my shorts, if I passed all these background checks why do I have to be frisked / molested to get on a plane...

      CC with a Gun T-Shirt ?

You mean my NRA vanity plate, my Friends of the NRA stickers and USSCA stickers are all give-a-way that I might be armed? You'd think people would stop tailgating me and gripping and telling me I'm #1 when I don't drive 55 in a 35 mph residential area .........

      Liberty Bell Irony

I saw and touched the Liberty Bell as I child and was shocked to find that over the years people had taken pen knives and carved off pieces of the edge for souvenirs. Since people have not improved and probably gotten worse over the years, it's a wonder they let anyone near it at all.

      Women want style...

I like the American Hobo Concealed Carry Handbag I got at the NRA store. I've had it a couple of years now and it's hold up well. Looked at a few at gun shows and the like but they just did not excite me.

      great day of OC

A few years ago I took a gun safety class at a local gun store. The DNR officer who gave the class went to great length to say that Indiana was conceal carry only and that it was gun store lore that people thought they could open carry. He told a story of how he had someone's LTCH revoked for OC...

      FFL Transfer fee?

Best advice is to call around, prices vary widely. When I was seeking an FFL to transfer my Mosin, it varied from $20 to $75. I thought it polite to ask if the store stocked the item I wanted before I asked them to do the transfer. Understandably they seem more cooperative if it's not an item...

My partner rarely carries but we got her her license to to keep us legal should I leave a handgun in the car or if she picked up/ held my purse for me outside of home. Gun Banquets: Like or Dislike?

Basically its a banquet like many other banquets meant to raise money. The one I'm involved with is on a Friday night at a local car museum so you get the added benefit of touring the museum included in your dinner ticket price. There are normally the basic dinner ticket and then there are...

      Gun Banquets: Like or Dislike?

So your not really looking for a toaster to burn the NRA logo into your toast or a waffle iron that makes the NRA logo in your waffles  I understand, I too look for the guns and gadgets, not stuff to hang on my walls. Thanks for the feedback.
