      Ahhh good ole Fort Jackson! D. Co. 2-13 Hell Hound here. I remember our Drill Sergeants coming to Reception Battalion. They told us we weren't in Relaxin Jackson, we were in Hell. Haha good times. Congrats to your son! 68W is a tough job, lots to know and study! I hear it's very rewarding though.

      It sucks! I used to chew a can a day of grizzly wintergreen. I got forced to quit aka Army Basic Training. Let me tell you, MRE coffee saved my butt out in the field with cravings. I tried to dip the day I graduated and threw up haha.

      I save my drill money from the Army every month and 50 bucks a paycheck. Automatically direct deposited into a separate checking account. No checks, no debit cards. Pretty easy not to touch it. Just pay my bills with everything else and if I want some extra play money I get into a little side...

      How to use an MRE

      Good ole MRE's. Think I've ate enough in my time to last a lifetime lol. MRE bombs are fun to make. Guy I went to Basic Training with never ate a hot MRE. He was an odd ball, he loved the Veggie Omlet.
