Info request: ND at Moe's grill in Fishers- 2/10

Thanks for bringing me up to speed on the 5yo girls, that explains their shifty little expressions!

Info request: ND at Moe's grill in Fishers- 2/10

I was thinking pocket or waistband with no holster. Immediately, I imagine that this guy is an idiot, but still want to know more...

Info request: ND at Moe's grill in Fishers- 2/10

My wife and young son were at Moe's southwest grill in Fishers this afternoon with a friend and her young daughter. A man, WM/late 20s-early 30s, walked in with a young woman, and while in the line to order food, had an ND and apparently shot himself in the leg. My wife and her friend did the...

      Car Carry Options

Thanks for the feedback. I understand some people only want to carry one way, but that's not always the situation for me. I'm not looking to constantly be transferring from one holster to another but if I'm driving for more than an hour a holster and gun starts to get pretty uncomfortable (4...

      Car Carry Options

I've been researching various options for carrying a pistol in my car. I've seen a lot of variations of holsters mounted directly to the car, but I don't like the idea of having it visible from the outside of the car (empty or otherwise). In addition to potentially tipping thieves off, I am...

Gun Store Rescinds Mark Kelly's AR Purchase

I hope this isnt a dupe, just saw it this evening. Looks like the gun store owner is questioning the intent of Mr. Kelly's purchase :). Gun store rescinds Mark Kelly's rifle purchase, questions his 'intent' | Fox News

Ruger GSR as 358 hoosier host?

I think a Ruger Gunsite Scout chambered in 358 hoosier would be a pretty cool little package. But I thought I'd bounce the idea off of the INGO crew, to see if it is really feasible. How difficult do you think it would be to re-barrel a Ruger GSR in 358 hoosier? I like the look of the GSR...

How many guns have you not shot...

I have a Mosin M44 that I have had for about two years and never shot. Someone gave it to my grandfather when they came up short on a payment. I need to take it out soon!

      SR1911 Grip Opinions Needed

Out of the two choices, I'd go with the wood. I overheard someone at the 1500 ask a vendor if he had pearl grips on his pistol. The guy replied "pearl is for sissies, this is ivory!". So if you want to compromise...how about some ivory?

Wall insert for home defense. Great option!

I prefer my gun-wall storage to be a little more "pineapple expressy"

      CCI 22LR video.

Fascinating, I have always wondered how they were primed, thanks!

      Would you buy from armlist?

I have had good luck selling on armslist. If you post an ad, you will get some crazy ass emails from some people. Just be smart, and walk away if something seems off or if a deal is too good to be true.

Need Help Choosing My Next Handgun

Considering your other pistols, i would go with the mark iii. Fills a gap in your collection, ammo is (or was!) cheap and plentiful, and would be a good training tool.

      Legal or not FTF sales

The out of state buyers may be C&R license holders. I have a friend from Cinci that travels to a lot of shows in adjoining states to track down C&R eligible pieces for his collection.

Quick fun project: My new strong mount

great work! No need to pay inflated prices, I'm sure yours will last as long as you do!

      First Rifle Suggestions

I agree, with all of the indiana restrictions on hunting cartridge dimensions it will be tough to reach out to 200 with great accuracy for cheap. I would buy one gun for longer range plinking and a cheap one for deer. The H&R single shot slug guns are good, affordable, and IN legal.

      Circuit Judge Carbine

Awesome, thanks for the feedback! I might have to take a longer look at these next time I'm at the fun store:D.

      870 express

If you have the replaceable chokes on the rem-choke barrel, you will obviously lose the ability to change chokes. You can also purchase 18.5 inch barrels for the 870. I don't think they make those with the replaceable chokes.
