      Chinese SKS year of manufacture

I have searched around on several sites. Was just seeing if any Ingo-ers can help shed some light with their personal experience with their SKS. I'm nearly certain it was made at the 0135 arsenal so pinpointing a specific date may be impossible.

      Chinese SKS year of manufacture

This is a pic of the import stamp. Barrel is about 20 inches.

      Chinese SKS year of manufacture

It may be a commercial model. The stock is milled to allow for the scope bracket mounting plate on the receiver. So that makes me think that it is an original stock.

      Chinese SKS year of manufacture

I have looked on these sites. The think the arsenal is 0135. But I haven't found any details about the arsenal itself.

      Chinese SKS year of manufacture

I have a Chinese SKS that I'm trying to figure out when it was made. I tried the Google route but didn't have any luck. It appears to have an original side scope mount, But the scope is not original. All of the numbers match with the exception of the magazine well. The 0135 before the...

      walther

One plus on the PPQ. The sights are super easy to replace. It's about a 10 minute swap.

      walther

It's an awesome gun in every way. The trigger is what sold me. I have bought and ended up selling several guns over the years after finding something I liked better, but this one is a keeper.

      The Czickness.

I'm curious if anyone has done any upgrades to their 75 BD and the differences afterward.

      The Czickness.

The stars aligned just right today and I came home with a CZ 75 BD Police 9mm. I may put some different grips on it. Very happy with it so far.

Walther PPQ 9mm vs HK VP9

TopDog Thanks for the offer. I bought a PPQ a few days ago. I am very happy with it so far. I may pick up a VP9 in the future if the right deal comes along.

Walther PPQ 9mm vs HK VP9

I was leaning toward the VP9. But after handling both at my local LGS multiple times, I pulled the trigger on the PPQ. I'm very happy with it so far. :rockwoot:

Walther PPQ 9mm vs HK VP9

In a perfect world, I would buy both. But since that's not possible at the moment, I'm leaning toward the VP9. Maybe in the future I'll run across a deal on a PPQ and have both. AceDerringer I appreciate the offer. as well as the comments from everyone else.

Walther PPQ 9mm vs HK VP9

I'm in the market for a new 9mm handgun. My search has come down to either the Walther PPQ 9mm or the HK VP9. Both seem like great guns and I am having a tough time deciding between the two. I've handled both at my LGS. They are in the same price range and have great reviews. I don't think...

      Need Help Identifying a Revolver

Vague information seems to be common on some of the older imported guns. It certainly makes it a challenge to identify them. Thanks for the replies.

      Need Help Identifying a Revolver

I think the stamp is FAR. It may be an old Spanish gun. I don't know the year, maker or what value it may have.

      Need Help Identifying a Revolver

I recently inherited this old revolver. It has a stamped logo near the grip with what appears to be an RA. The barrel has "38 long cartridge" on it and the serial number is on the butt. No model number anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

      Impressed by the M&P Shield.

I have a Shield 40 as well. It's a great gun. As stated before it's a little snappy, but totally manageable. I have shot a friends 9mm Shield, but I like the extra little thump that the 40 has.

      Never use United Parcel Service

I have always had good luck with UPS & USPS. But Fedex in my area sucks! Their drivers couldn't find my house if it bit them on the butt. Fedex has delivered my packages to the wrong address several times. I absolutely hate dealing with them.

F16 buzzing Tree tops in Indy?????

My house is on the runway flight path of the former 181st fighter wing in Terre Haute. One day, two F-16's flew low over the house and rattled the windows. My daughter asked "What was that!". I told her that is the sound of Freedom! I really miss seeing them fly over on a daily basis.
