I got my nephew started on a .22 when he was 5 (about them same age as myself when I got my first rifle) he is 8 now and has shot hand guns up to .40 and rifles up to 5.56... teach them safety rules and marksmanship and it should stick with them at this age.
All that being said maturity level...
Sorry to hear... Looking forward to the new designs from both of them though.
This is one of our most used knives here at the house. Just got done cutting up some grapes for the little one.

This guy lives a few houses down from my brother. I've seen him out and about hundreds of times and never guessed he was faking. He even pulled my sister in law over in the neighborhood once when she slid through a stop sign in the winter.
I voted "No shooty, no dirty. But I am with Steve B one or two mags isn't going to make it dirty enough for me to clean.
Precision rifles and guns that don't get shot much I clean after every range trip. Perhaps before the trip as well depending on when the last time it was fired.
I have used both the GG&G and Surefire rail adapters for the USP with good results.
I would pick up which ever I could find a deal on.
Congrats on the HK's !!!
I had a pistol stolen out of my car about 6 or 7 years ago while it was parked in my driveway with me home asleep. I bought the pistol for the one reason to leave in that car.
I am sad I lost the pistol... I don't leave guns in the car anymore unless on trips and such... But as guns do not...
