      8x56r yes, I know, a real common round. Also the magazine is like a Carcano where it has a clip that you load and the spent clip drops out the bottom when empty. All my clips and ammo have the Nazi 'dirtybird' on them so I am not real eager to find out how it shoots.

      Yes, that is the revised version, what I call an umbrella slider. The flares hit the receiver and slide it back to allow the shells to pass. With the others the metal block has a small spring steel detent in a grove to provide the same action.

      I got rid of my PSL, it couldn't hit the floor with it's hat. It was brand new and shipped from the factory and you would think you couldn't hit a bull in the butt with a bass fiddle when you shot the thing.
