A serious 'dope' question. Who uses?

:scratch:My wife and I had a serious conversation about dope usage (in this case, cocaine) after a friend of ours left her husband because he'd spent thousands on the drug, lied, etc. But, my question is this: Who is using all this stuff? Who is giving their life savings to cartels? I know...

      Another 'word of warning'.

I read jgriener's 'word of warning' about his brother being scammed by the girl who came to his door wanting a ride. Quite a few years ago, there was a case in Denver where a women had had her purse stolen at a bus station. She got a phone call from a stranger saying that he had been the one...

      Double edge / Wet shaving

After this past hot July, my wife suggested that I might want to shave off my beard. Oh my gosh! I've entered a new universe! I've discovered words like 'Merkur', 'Parker', 'Feather', badger brushes, etc. She also says that I look 20 years younger (had a white beard). Dang! And it's fun! Now I...

      Monon Trail mugging

I don't know if this goes here or on the 'hiking' section or is even a dupe. There was another mugging today on the Monon according to Channel 13. The police recommended that people not use it at night and when they do use, to travel in groups of two or more. Discuss? :dunno:

      Ceiner 22 cal conversion question

I think this is the right area. Has anyone actually used the Ceiner 22 caliber conversion kit for the Taurus PT92 system? I've seen them for around $200. Is it worth it? I have 4 guns in the Taurus PT92 configuration and figure it might be worth it. I'd like to hear 'actually done it...

      SKS firing pin update:

I tried 'search' and kept getting sent to the New Posts, but here's my question: I bought a Norinco SKS from an INgo member and have no problems with the gun. A fair deal. As I always do (and recommend to all members), I stripped it completely down to check for cosmoline residue, etc. The firing...

      Overpass Rant

I read about someone dropping rocks and bricks from highway overpasses onto cars, trucks, etc. as they pass below. Isn't this attempted murder? I know I'm not the only one this enrages. :xmad: Comments? (I didn't see this in 'search' but someone will tell me if it's been covered.)

      Finally! Hi-Point .45 carbine

A friend called and said Hi-Point has released it's .45 caliber carbine. I don't have any links and hope this isn't a dupe. I know a lot of people have been waiting for this. He said they were priced at $330. Hope it's true.
