The problem is I’m not looking to buy, I’m looking to trade. But what you mentioned is within the same value as the firearm I’m looking to trade. I’m still working on my 50 so I can interact and post in the marketplace. This post was to give insight into what might be the best firearm to trade...
Thanks for the advice, while I’ve always felt 40 was no better than 9 the main reason I put that above 9mm is just for hand comfort. I know there’s performance differences between the calipers but they feel about the same when I shoot. But based off of your statement I’ll start looking into some...
While it won’t be my first gun, I was originally looking for a decent 1911 before I made this post. Mainly because the slimmer more compact guns just don’t feel right in my hand so they’re awkward to shoot. But the bulky kinda thick ones give an all around better experience.
I’ve previously had the g2c chambered in .40 and I gotta agree. The 9mm shot and handled way better. But I’m more leaning towards a bigger, and heavier handgun. I have large hands and normal size pistols are super uncomfortable to shoot.
I’m thinking about going with a bigger/heavier gun just because those are what’s most comfortable for me to handle/shoot. A lot of people seem to think it’ll be my first carry and it’s probably due to my phrasing. But I’ve found the average size to small handguns just aren’t for me.
That’s true, I’ll have to compare the 9mm to the .40 when I go to the range and see what feels and handles better. But I’ll be sure to keep in mind what you said.
I’ve grown up shooting and handling guns and I’ve carried before but not for more than 2 years. And I don’t have a problem with accuracy more just the comfort of the firearm in my hand. And reliability/durability. But based off what I have experience with shooting and carrying in the past I...
I bought my shotgun from Midwest, they do have a great collection of handguns. I wasn’t sure if they had a range and did the rentals or not. I’ll probably end up going there the check some out
I agree completely, the only thing that matters to me is reliability and comfort. I don’t want a gun that’s known to jam, and I don’t want one that doesn’t feel good in my hands
