Just yesterday, while I was out for a run I got chased down by a crazed, blood thirsty doberman and some whacked out sheepdog of some sort. The only reason I still have my legs is that some lady in an Expedition seen what was going an and tried to plow these two dogs over causing them to run off...

Hello All,
Would anybody have a clue on how to remove the spring inside the trigger on a Star PD. I purchased a Wolff service pack kit for it and I was successful in replacing all the springs for the exception of the trigger spring. There is a trigger pin that holds the sear bar in place...
I just got kicked out of the Old Navy on 86th St for carrying a firearm.
As always I carry conclealed wherever I go. I was minding my own business at this lame Old Navy Store waiting for my mother and sister to finish up in the fitting rooms or wherever they were at, when this lame manager...

It usually takes me about 2-3 hrs cleaning my 1911 is this normal or am I just too damn OCD? :n00b:
I've owned other plastic guns (Glock 23 & PT145) but it seems I never took as long with those as I do my 1911's. It usually took me 30- 45 mins max to do those. :dunno:
Howdy INGOers
I was wanting to swap out the horrendous looking hammer on my PT1911 among other things (sights and trigger). Here is my question: would it be sufficient to just replace the hammer and have it fitted to the factory sear or should I have the sear and disconnector replaced as well...
For my first FTF sale, this transaction was painless, no haggle or fuss from this member. Communication was good and timely. I take my hat off to you Sir. Hope you enjoy your new gun.

Any INGO members on here own a GSG 1911 or have any kind of experience with them, and would training with a 22LR 1911 increase my accuracy with my other .45 1911s?
I would like to shoot more often but with .45 ammo being 30-40 cents a pop this gets expensive very quickly, especially being an...
Hey guys/gals,
I baught my Ultra Compact (New) last month and got to shoot it once and it shoots well but honestly I am really dissapointed in it. Here are my issues with it:
1) The ambi safety on it feels like junk and is impossible to engage/dissengage with my thumb only. The safety is...
Ok I finally got a chance to shoot my new Springfield Ultra Compact yesterday and I loved it. I disassembled and cleaned it all up with no problems at all. I have got this thing almost reassembled with the exception of the slide stop lever. I can't get this thing past the plunger it's just too...
I just received my 1911 King Tuk holster holster yesterday and have been wearing it ever since. It is comparable to the Crossbreed holster but I have never handled one of those in person. This holster came packaged real well and the leather and hardware seem heavy duty and well built. The...
I went to Bradis Guns last Sunday to shop for a compact 1911. All they had in stock at the time were some Rock Island Armory and these American Tactical Imports 1911s. I kinda liked they way they felt in my hand except for the grip safety which felt a little jinky. I have never heard of ATI...
