Any INGO members on here own a GSG 1911 or have any kind of experience with them, and would training with a 22LR 1911 increase my accuracy with my other .45 1911s?

I would like to shoot more often but with .45 ammo being 30-40 cents a pop this gets expensive very quickly, especially being an unemployed college student thats about to get married. :ugh:

Do a little digging. There is at least one if nOt two or three very detailed reviews on here written by users. Also check out profire arms in the vendors section and check his prices. I'm thinking they are real good on the .45 acp

I have one, and I'd have to say "yes". It is a 1911 platform and other than a few things (barrel, magazine, etc.), it's parts are 80% + interchangeable with your .45 1911.
You could pay for a conversion kit to change your .45 into a .22, or you could spend a few bucks more for another whole gun and have TWO toys. :)

    thanks

thanks for the responses and reviews. I am also interested in either a conversion kit for my kimber or a GSG 1911.

Cool thanks guys. I'm going to have to purchase one then. :rockwoot:

I use the search function first, but the search function on this forum has got to be the worst ever. Do a search on "GSG 1911" and you get a whole bunch of Taurus, Sig, and M&P stuff. :dunno:
