      latest AR build, an AR-57

I have all manner of AR, lightweight builds, HB target builds, even a suppressed 300 Whisper. So when I found myself with a suplus of lowers I decided to try a different direction and build an AR-57. The AR-57 uses the top mount 30 and 50 round magazines for the FN P90 on an upper for the AR...

Devil Dog Arms and the shame of stolen valor

I am a graduate of St John's Military Academy and am somewhat ashamed a fellow Old Boy from my school resorted to stolen valor to promote his business. Joe Lucania, who is clearly guilty of stolen valor and the owner of Devil Dog Arms, claimed for years that he was a former USMC Scout Sniper...

      WTS: S&W Bodyguard .380

Selling this because my better half really dislikes it, I told her she would but she had to fire three rounds to find out I was right...lol. For her it is the reach to the trigger on any double action, not just this gun, she has very small hands. So a grand total of 12 rounds has been down the...

      My last Paul Rimpler knife...

Paul Rimpler was a local knife maker and Dad and I sold quite a few of his knives through our gunshop. I personally owned 8-10 of his knives but sold most over the years only holding onto this one. Somewhere in the house I think I still have one of his marked blanks as well, an upswept skinner...

Throwback Thursday 1/14/16 - Ever us a stripper clip to reload your BUG?

Yes for a while I did use a stripper clip to reload my BUG, a Grendel P-10. The P-10 was a small pocket gun made in .380 and utilized an internal 10 round magazine. Not a bad gun over all but I decided it was just a touch unwieldy for the reload.
