An interesting oberservation:

After fighting for his life, he went from carrying a smaller gun to a larger one.
I have heard/read several stories.

Makes you think it would be wiser to carry a larger gun to begin with...

Magazine capacity is something I consider when looking for an EDC. I would rather have all bad guys on the ground and extra rounds left in my mag than compromise for a light weight firearm.
