    I've never seen #1 shot. Single aught (0), yes. Why they specific request for #1?

    Its because three of them will lie neatly in one layer in a .36 bore. We are playing with a little muzzle-loading pistol. I see it specified as a standard shot size on thousands of websites, but an extensive search proves it to be vaporware. It looks as if its not manufactured anywhere on earth. I have to question the need for standardization of something that doesn't seem to exist.

    Friend of mine used to shoot a Colt Navy quite a bit and I’m pretty sure he used this stuff. The diameter they list is is .330 or .340 which seems close to what you’d need. Not sure if that helps or not.

    I don't think you understand what he's going for. If you looked down the bbl you would see a triumvirate of shot. You could see all three in the layer if I understand him correctly.

    This might help. I think we are looking at .16 diameter instead of .300 diameter. Bird shot vs buck.
