I have always had good luck with MidwayUSA until today. I received an order of a couple Glock Magazines and a Glock plus 2 extension. The plus 2 extension did not have the insert with it which makes the piece worthless. I called their Customer Service and they said to call Glock they would handle the issue. I told the lady that It is a Glock part but I didn't buy it from Glock I purchased it from you. The lady says that it’s out of stock call Glock. Wow hope Glock has better customer service than midway. Rant OFF!!!

The Glock extensions "require" the separate purchase of the floor plate. Copied from MidwayUSA's web page:

    Product Information
This is an original factory replacement part. Factory replacement parts are manufactured to the exact same specifications and tolerances and use the same manufacturing materials as the original parts which guarantees excellent fit and reliable operation.

    Technical Information

Glock Magazine Base Pad, item 968128, requires a Glock Magazine Insert, item 883766
Will not fit 10-Round magazines, except G26 and G37
Disassembly and assembly may be required to replace part
Some parts may require installation by a qualified gunsmith

    And you are blaming MidwayUSA???

you are right I did not see that. My mistake for thinking they all come together. For that price it should have been together. No worries I will just send it back to them. Thanks for the help.

I bought a scope base from them a couple months ago. It had no screws with it. When I called Midway, they said the same thing, call the manufacturer. I was disappointed in them.

I work for a company that uses a dealer/distributor network and our products specifically say to call US as the manufacturer rather than the dealer. When in doubt, call the manufacturer... I would rather have someone that is having an issue with a product call us and get it fixed rather than going to the dealer and having them try to "fix" it or try to get us to swap out the product (customer would send it directly back to us for warranty or flat rate repair).

Sounds like midway just rubbed you the wrong way! As mentioned, it's fairly common to let the manufacturer deal with issues with their product. I hope you get this straitened out without too much pain!

Midway is my favorite supplier. Order almost every month and NEVER had a problem.

BTW. Some manufacturers insist that suppliers refer customers back to them for product issues - nothing unusual.

Midway is not always the cheapest. Their shipping cost can be debatable. But I think they are the only online retailer that I never had any problems with. They are huge for a reason. I will keep doing business with them. Plus I think they are on the list of standing up to the socialist and not selling restricted items to LEO's in states with restrictions.

I have always had good luck with Midway. I think your issue is the equivalent of buying a table at Wal-Mart and then going back and b*tching at Wal-Mart when it's missing a screw or bolt that it should have come with.

Hopefully Glock doesn't have to start including a little paper with their parts stating, "If you have an issue with this part, contact US and not the vendor you purchased the item from." [Or something similar].

That being said, the whole point is moot as it was a mistake on your part and not something Midway could have fixed to begin with.

My only complaint with Midway USA is they almost always have what I want in stock. I just looked at my account on line and I spent on average $125 per month with them over the last 12 months. Shipping is fast and the only time I ever called customer service they were very polite and did all they could to help resolve my issue, which wasn't their fault.

They are my number one supplier. The Potterfield story is a true American business success story, and I appreciate their support for the NRA.

My only complaint with Midway is the price of their shipping. But I will say, you get what you pay for: their shipping speed is phenomenal. I never pay for upgraded shipping, but Midway always ships as if I did. :yesway:

The shipping is crazy fast but now they are using UPS and USPS in the same order so it sits in indy for 4 days until USPS picks it up. I think shipping like that is around 4-5bucks.

I stop buying from them because they are always out of anything I need. Well in others I can't buy from them since they never have anything in stock I am looking for..
