1911 grips

Just pickked up a new set of pachmayr grips w/ finger groves for a Rock Island 1911 9mm, I hate to sound dumb but I cant get them on any tips?

is it a double stack? if so they won't fit without stretching

If they are Brand new wraparounds they take some stretching around the grip.If the holes dont line up they might not be the right size type (officers model ,llama) just guessing without seeing it
