The Sig 1911 carry Scorpions are very nice. What ever you buy since your looking at the shorter barrel 1911's make sure you buy a quality brand. I have heard of a lot of people having issues with the cheaper 1911's with the shorter barrels

I dont care for 1911s with rails with one exception:

Dont worry about scratches, They happen. And in a few years they will be what sets it apart from the others and make it yours and yours alone. ;)

Was not aware you had an operator.

This is my EDC at present.....Springer TRP Operator

Well I had a little bump in my budget a few weeks ago and after all the important stuff was taken care of I had some left over. So this is the result of that. Ive only had it for about two weeks I havent even shot it yet.

But yeah we should shoot some Springers sometime.

I went out and bought myself the Sig Sauer Tactical Operations Edition 1911. It's got the light rail and a threaded barrel. Not very compact, but I would suggest the Springfield or the Kimber. Both outstanding pistols.

    Hope your enloying the Socom!

Yeah I think I came out ok. I sold more than just the Socom. Oh well, all is well now. There are more important things than guns in this world, and possessions can be replaced over time.

Im guessing you havent seen the James Yeager 1911"s suck videos yet...sarcasm included

Oh we have all seen it. He sucks. No sarcasm intended.
I have ran more than a few Glocks and respect them for what they do well. They run for the most part but like any machine they will fail. Same with a 1911 especially the entry level pieces.
