Sig Fullsize Tac Ops I picked up. Always wanted one.

Not too much of a fan of the TLR4 on a 1911, but it'll suffice until I retire it as my bedside gun and replace it with my threaded P227, when the osprey supp comes in.

    Love me some Sig.
TT, I'm going to join you in the Remi Rand ownership within a year or two, I've decided! You've convinced me.

    1943 Remington rand WWII U.S. property 1911A1

this is a type 2 Remington rand which is a little more desirable the way I've read. Someone chromed or nickel plated it at some point. I bought this to either restore or turn into a Marine MEU pistol since it is the correct frame they use still. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. I may even sell it and not mess with it.

    Range Officer Compact

Here's my Springfield Range Officer Compact. Have been carrying it on a daily basis for around a month now. Really like the gun.

Saw a guy with the RO compact at the range yesterday seemed to shoot really nice!

bjenkins, I have really enjoyed mine. I should probably mention that I don't have a ton of experience with other 1911's, but have shot a few, and this one is perfect for me. In fact, the only thing I don't care for is the built in gun lock on the back of the grip. I think that was an unnecessary add on that only contributed to a higher purchase price. I'll never use it, but maybe for others it's a nice feature.

Anyway, it's a gun I'll not likely ever part with.

Enjoy you never go wrong with a Springfield!

Tried out some imitation ivory, just for giggles. Definitely not staying on the gun but they don't look half bad.

Needs more contrast or texture or....something.

I really like the contrast of the black and white. So :yesway: for appearance.

In terms of gripping the pistol, I would like a little more traction.
