This gun is no safe queen, but it is in pretty good overall condition given its age. Some minor scratches and defects on the wood and metal, but no rust or cracks in the forearm or stock. The bluing is still fairly deep and the finish on the wood appears original. There are what appear to be "cracks" in the finish on the wood. I couldn't get them to show up in the pictures, but I'm certain they aren't in the wood itself as they run perpendicular to the grain of the wood, and are pretty faint. The only other issue is that the barrel serial number doesn't match the receiver, though it is Belgian. I purchased the gun used several years ago, and have hunted with it a few times, but just don't use it as much anymore.
