Over the past several months, I've had two different batches of ammo produced for me by Andrew @ Whitetail Trading Co., LLC
First up was some .38 Special wadcutters that replicate the Federal Gold Medal Match ammo that's basically unobtamium. I finally had a chance to shoot some of this the other day. Aside from being a tad smokey (no big deal...), they were nice and mild and went where I aimed them. Better these than what USED to be in my 642. We met up and I got him some brass. Once he worked them up - we met again and exchanged dollars for ammos.
Next was some .40 S&W that I requested. I have a Beretta 96 D on a semi-permanent loan from a family member. And since .40 sucks and I no longer own any of my own, I don't keep any ammo around. So I did just want some basic 180gr FMJ plinking ammo... But he said he had a bunch of 165gr JHPs, so he loaded those up as basically plinking rounds. Definitely accurate! That which I shot all fed, fired, and extracted without a hitch.
So...+2 for Whitetail Trading Co., LLC!
