With 2013 fast approaching, I have started to set my fitness goals for the year. This year I finally weighted in at under 200 pounds for the first time in close to a decade, completed by first sub 30 minute 5K, and my first half marathon. Here are my goals for 2013 (hopefully I'll be adding more).

    Fitness/Health Goals

    • Lose weight to reach 175 pounds
    • Complete 100 push-ups in a row
    • Complete 20 pull-ups in a row
    • Increase HDL and decrease blood pressure
    • Decrease or eliminate my need/want for caffeine

    Races

    • Planet Adventure Quarter Trail Marathon (Jan 26)
    • Flying Pig Half Marathon (May 5)
    • Monumental Marathon (Nov 2)
So, what are your goals for 2013?

    Goals?

    Lose 30+ pounds
    Toughen my core
Walk my section ( 4 miles) in under an hour
    Get my tummy flat
Get some use out of the Bowflex.

That's enough, I'm tired thinking about it...

I would like to put on about 15 lbs. And get a competition total over 1500 lbs. There are some American records in the 240 lb weight class I know I can break already at 200 lbs I just need to get heavy enough to make weight.
My Goals short of that are 550 lb squat, 350 lb bench and a 630 lb deadlift all in a competition.
My best right now are 524 lb squat, 330 lb bench and a 611 deadlift. So, I think my goals are withing reach this year. If I can keep injuries at bay.
I would also like to make black belt this year in martial arts.

My primary goal for 2013 will be to rehab from my ACL/PCL/meniscis surgery 12-13-12. Looking at a 3-5 month rehab until 100% awesomeness.

During that time, I will not allow myself to backslide.

Currently I am about right where I want to be fitness wise. 170 pounds. 8% body fat. 270# bench. Sub 7 minute mile.

I will be ready for my annual 18 hour adventure race in May.

If time allows, I will do another Spartan race, as well as a Tough Mudder and a Warrior Dash.

In highschool I was a lifting fool. Weighed around 190 and squatted 605 max. I also ended up fracturing my L5 vertebrae doing this.... So, my goal for this year is to actually make use of the gym membership that I'm paying for. Would like to go from the 215 I'm at now to 190 by the time of my wedding in may. Mostly just want to slim down and tone up but don't have any weight lifting numbers I want to get to.
