2024 Blue Python

Having looked at the pics of blue, matte and reg stainless..... my choice is the reg 6" stainless.

I can vouch for the stainless ones, but i'll still get a blued one (have a 2.5 inch SS coming, then just need the 5 inch). I was hoping to see the 8 inch announced but it didn't happen.

That was a great time to buy one for sure

I want to say $325.00+ dollars? and then a friend that was a salesman with Colt dropped it off at Hartford and it was given Elliasons and a paper trigger job.

Yes, the polishing equipment will not be duplicated, as the final polish of the original Royal Blue Pythons was a walrus hide wheel.

Yanked the Elliason and went w Kensight full blade rear. Partridge front. Much better sight picture for me but did throw off the look.

Replaced Partridge w original ramp and it looks better.

On my clunker 69 blued 6 inch.

So I got to lay hands on one at the gun club yesterday and Colt really did a fantastic job they look great IMHO. Not quite as good , probably 95% that of the original guns. I just need either a 2 or 4” to run across me.

Got the 2.5 inch in, these come with the Altamont grips, I had to buy the other set for my three incher.

I never thought I would see a brand new Colt python in blue.

Sucker for deep blued steel and figured wood grain. Would not object if one crossed my path, which I may need to stack the odds in favor of. Nickel finish on revolvers is pretty sweet too.
