.22 Beretta saved me from a bear attack

This reliable Beretta Jetfire .22 Short pistol is a personal favorite of mine and I am never without it. It saved my life a few years ago when attacked by a black bear while hiking in the smokey mountains with a family member. I was able to escape, walking at a brisk pace, after I shot my brother-in-law in the knee.

that is like the two guys that were running from a bear ...and one of the guys stopped to put on his running shoes...the other guy said, " you are not going to outrun a bear"...the guy putting on his sneakers said "I dont have to outrun the bear I just have to outrun you!"

That's the main reason I started to carry. Too much arthritis = I can't out run ANYTHING or ANYBODY! I know I'll be the one left behind to fight off the bears, mountain lions or the Zombies or... I also don't go hiking anymore!
