I am seeking advise on a .22cal slide for my glock. I have no experience with any of these, just seeing what others think of them to possible justify a purchase of one !!
I have an AA conversion kit for my gen 3 19 and I love it. It allows me to get a lot of trigger time for little cost. The only negatives that I have found is the lack of recoil compared to the 9mm (obviously)and the light weight of the slide. It feels almost toy-like. I do like shooting 100's of rounds for cheap. I feel like my kit was a great investment.
I have an AA .22 conversion for my glock 17 and agree with Klrbear 100%.
Cheap shooting and a lot of fun. I only use the recommended ammo and have had very yew issues (couple of stovepipes). The slide is slightly wider than stock and may cause a very snug fit for certain holsters (read fobus, ITAC...) and that's just a heads up.
My eleven year old daughter loves it too!
AA kit for my Glock 27. Just ordered 5 extra mags for it.
Works well and allows you to train for significantly cheaper. It focuses you on trigger pull and sight alignment. Then just swap back and put a few mags of the real thing through it each time.
