I currently dont own a 22 pistol, i do have pistols in other most common calibers. In the research process of nfa trust, with 22 suppressor as first nfa item. So, i figured i would buy a pistol to play around with will waiting on tax stamp. Plus i want a 22 pistol anyway.
I suggest getting one that is similar to your carry gun that has a threaded barrel. I carry a M&P and I have a M&P22. Makes a great host.

I have the MP22 compact, and yes, it works fine with Standard ammo. I have a Huntington Arms-- it was the least expensive, and I got a really good deal on it. I would also consider getting the 22/45 Lite.

I recently put a threaded Tactical Solutions 6" upper on my MKII. I went that route because I already had that pistol. If I didn't then I would have went with a 22/45 Lite.
