    Anyone know where to find some .22 Remington Automatic? I know it's a long shot but worth asking. I have my grandpas model 16 and have never been able to shoot it.

    I found that when "The Original" Old Western Scrounger was in business he had a run of it made back in the 90's I believe. And with that, its out there.
    I would root the internet auction sites and the gun show circuit, ask the old guys selling old ammo. The boxes from The Scrounger were very plain with a western theme printed on them..
    Everything I read, it can't be replaced with another round easily. it involves cutting the case and reseating the bullet.

    Very interesting. Never heard of Old Western Scrounger. Guess I'll have to keep digging.

    Maybe last week a couple boxes sold here on Ingo. I remembered because I had to look it up. Ya know day-sha-vu all over again. It is very desirable.
