22 suppressor ?

i have a question....would a 223 suppressor calm down a 22-250.....22-250 + coyote = July 1?

2 would it loose a lot of fps?

yes, it will handle it, and if anything is will gain fps, the can acts as barrel length for the most part.

It will change your POI. It should not effect your groups much, but you will need to be sighted in for the suppressor, or without the suppressor.

I would go 1/2x28

The od on 1/2x28 threads is about .495

Yes 1/2x28 is standard on 22 cal rifles. Alot of companies thread 22's at odd ball pitch's for some reason (cz for 1), but most suppressors are set up to take 1/2x28 for 22 cal, and 5/8x24 for 30 cal's.

If you take the flashhider off of a ar-15 you will find 1/2x28 threads

i looked at a 223/556 Gemtech today and the instructions said no 22-250 or 220 swift?......i'm goin' to call them monday and see what them say....
