257 Roberts Ackley Improved

I just bought a 257 Ackley Improved and am fire forming cases right now. Has anybody worked up any loads for a 257 AI, just looking for a starting point.

IIRC, the 257 Roberts was one of the cartridges P.O. Ackley felt benefited most from his particular take on "Improving". The performance and accuracy put it in the same class as a 25-'06.

After fire-forming your brass, consider middling standard charges as your starting point and one increment higher than max standard charges as something to work toward. If you have a specific bullet in mind, which is pretty common when someone loads for a wildcat, I'll be glad to help you with some load data.
