    IIRC, the 257 Roberts was one of the cartridges P.O. Ackley felt benefited most from his particular take on "Improving". The performance and accuracy put it in the same class as a 25-'06.

    After fire-forming your brass, consider middling standard charges as your starting point and one increment higher than max standard charges as something to work toward. If you have a specific bullet in mind, which is pretty common when someone loads for a wildcat, I'll be glad to help you with some load data.
