Good read. Like the other guy said, good to hear someone with some sense. I do think that we underestimate the TSA and DHS though. Look at what they are getting away with right now.

This isn't a new concept. Its been discussed on INGO before. They are not going to run in with weapons drawn and rip guns out of your hands. It will be a step by step process of law and regulations. Perhaps ending in a physical confiscation after many guns have been turned in. Currently a physical confiscation would be a monumental task if not impossible.

Then he goes on to tout what has been said here and on countless gun forums for years. Gun free zones dont work etc.

Its a good read but nothing new.

A reasonable argument it is. I would, however, caution you that history's most stunning turning points happened because of people managing to do what the cooler heads making reasonable arguments said could not be done. My advice is to be as prepared as possible for any situation. Adjust your focus as reason leads you, but don't rely on your enemy conforming to your expectations. You don't want your life to be in smoldering ruins like Pearl Harbor just because your readiness was predicated on someone else conforming to your 'reasonable' expectations.

I read the same post on Wilson Combat's blog. Great article and extremely well written.

His newsletter on his web site is good too. I am going to try to take some of his training when I can, if that doesn't get banned by Obama too.

We should all support the businesses run by people like him.
