1 man killed, 6 wounded in 3 Chicago shootings

CHICAGO (AP) -- One man has been killed and six people were wounded in three separate shootings in the Englewood neighborhood on Chicago's South Side.
Authorities say 30-year-old Brian Moore was shot in the shoulder late Thursday and died hours later at an area hospital.
Several hours later and about two blocks away, four young men were shot and wounded. Police say they were either entering or leaving a party. They're hospitalized in serious to critical condition.
As police were investigating that shooting, shots rang out about 20 minutes later, injuring two other people. They were said to be in stable condition.
It isn't clear if the shootings were related.

Did they vote for politicians who support gun control? If so, then good. That's what they get.

I hate to be a jerk about this, but if you support gun control with your vote, I won't be sorry to see you get what you ask for.

I am sure that's supposed to say East Chicago. Obviously this could only have happened in Indiana, since no private citizen may carry a gun in IL.

Certain socioeconomic populations could have 100 guns, per person, and have only the odd murder resulting from a crime of passion. Certain other populations could have to scrounge to find a single gun and kill a person with every round in the magazine.
